    Will Solvent Canvas work in my printer?
  1. Solvent canvas is designed for use with true and mild solvent inks and will only work in printers that are designed to use that kind of ink.
  2. Does Solvent Canvas require a top coat?
  3. Because solvent canvas is designed for solvent inks, a top coat is not required. If a coating is desired liquilam or clear flex is recommended. BullDog Ultra cannot be used with this canvas because the coating will dissolve the inks.
  4. What are some of the advantages of Solvent Canvas?
  5. Because solvent inks are used, neither an inkjet receptor nor top coat is required. As a result the canvas itself can be produced at a much lower cost.
